Selje, Norway 2015-02-15 Paneda Dab AS, a member of the Paneda group, has won another prestigious order for 22 tunnels in the Oslo region in Norway. In 2013 Paneda won a contract to cover 7 tunnels in the Oslo region, and this new order adds another 22 tunnels in the same region. The new order includes DAB and FM transmission systems, emergency-break-in systems including amplifiers and fibre optic systems.

This region has the busiest tunnels in Norway and it is an honour to be selected as the main supplier of such technology for these tunnels, and at the same time a great opportunity to show our new generation of the Paneda tunnel system with its focus on reliability and safety features.

The new Paneda generation of broadcast system sets a new standard of cost effective, compact and fully featured safety systems.

In stiff competition with high and strict requirements, specified by the Norwegian authorities, Paneda won on technical design and competitive pricing. Paneda will also handle supervision and status monitoring for these systems by using the Paneda 24/7 Network Operation Centre (NOC).

Geir Gjørsvik, CEO of the Paneda group says: “It is fantastic that once again it has been proven that our philosophy to provide cost effective and reliable solutions is honoured by winning this contract, and we feel confident about the future”.
