Paneda has completed the installation of DAB radio with a break-in system in the Mettevoll Tunnel, significantly improving traffic flow and safety in northern Norway. The tunnel, spanning 2460 meters, is part of a broader infrastructure upgrade aimed at enhancing year-round accessibility in the region.
The Mettevoll Tunnel bypasses a previously challenging section of the E6 that frequently experienced closures due to harsh weather conditions. This development ensures smoother travel in the county of Troms, reducing reliance on alternative routes during winter months.
