Paneda completes installation in the Tanem Tunnel, Norway

Selje, Norway 2025-02-07 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Paneda has completed the installation of DAB radio with a break-in system in the Tanem tunnel, which is a part of the Miljøpakken initiative in Trondheim on Fv. 704. Spanning 963 meters, the tunnel is a key component of a project aimed at enhancing traffic safety, reducing environmental impact, and improving transportation conditions in the region.

A new 4.5-kilometer road has been constructed between Tanem and Tulluan, following an alternative route to the previous alignment along Brøttemsvegen. The primary objectives of the project are to enhance traffic safety and improve environmental conditions. Heavy vehicles are now rerouted away from residential areas, schools, and kindergartens, ensuring a safer and more pleasant environment.

Additionally, the project improves access to key business areas, fostering potential opportunities for economic growth and job creation. It also provides better connectivity to the Vassfjellet ski resort, supporting regional tourism and recreation.
