Selje, Norway 2024-12-13 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Paneda has successfully conducted verification and evaluation tests of its new warning and triggering system in Hellesylt, Sunnmøre.
In collaboration with Mobit Ålesund and the 110 Emergency Dispatch Center in Ålesund, a complete system was deployed, where sirens and loudspeakers were activated via Paneda’s DAB solution and Mobit’s mobile-based solution. Both systems were triggered through the 110 Emergency Dispatch Center in Ålesund.
Paneda is now in the final phase of an R&D project supported by the Norwegian Research Council, where the technology has been developed. Vestlandsforsking, a partner in the R&D project, participated in the test to verify the technology’s functionality and to ensure that the population was effectively alerted.
