Paneda is proud to announce that the company has been selected as the supplier of DAB multiplexing systems for the public broadcaster Itelazpi, supporting its upcoming regular digital radio broadcasts in the Basque Country region of Spain.
As a public broadcaster, Itelazpi specified demanding technical requirements, with a strong focus on functionality, security, reliability, and operational stability. The contract has been awarded through our long-standing partner TRedess, a market leader in broadcast transmission technology.
The system to be delivered comprises a complete DAB head-end platform, including four multiplexers and multiple audio encoders configured in a fully redundant architecture, ensuring maximum service availability and resilience.
This project represents an important milestone for Paneda and marks the company’s first major deployment in the Spanish market. In addition to the core DAB platform, Paneda will provide metadata services as well as long-term technical support as part of the contract.
